The editorial office of Three Teachings Studies: Confucianism, Daoism, and Buddhism (TTS) is pleased to invite submissions for the 2025 annual issue, to be published on December 30, 2025.

TTS is a peer-reviewed, open-access international journal dedicated to the study of Confucianism, Daoism, and Buddhism. The journal emphasizes research on intellectual history, ritual practice, textual traditions, art, literature, and cultural exchange, with particular focus on comparative and interdisciplinary approaches to the Three Teachings.

Languages

Submissions are accepted in English, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, and Vietnamese. Non-English submissions must include an English title and abstract.

Review and Publication Schedule
  • TTS operates on a rolling submission basis. Manuscripts that successfully complete peer review and revision by November 30, 2025 will be included in the 2025 issue. Later submissions will be considered for the 2026 issue.

  • All manuscripts undergo double-blind peer review, typically taking 8–12 weeks.

  • Authors are usually expected to return revisions within 4–6 weeks.
