Publication and Review Schedule of Three Teachings Studies (TTS)

The editorial office of Three Teachings Studies: Confucianism, Daoism, and Buddhism (TTS) is pleased to announce the journal’s official publication and review schedule.

  • Publication Date: TTS is published annually on December 30.

  • Submission Policy: The journal operates on a rolling submission basis. Manuscripts may be submitted at any time throughout the year. Papers accepted in time for the editorial and production schedule will be included in the current year’s issue; those completed later will appear in the following year’s issue.

  • Initial Screening: All submissions undergo editorial screening within 2–3 weeks of receipt.

  • Peer Review: Submissions are evaluated through a double-blind peer-review process, which normally takes 8–12 weeks.

  • Author Revisions: Authors are usually expected to submit revised manuscripts within 4–6 weeks of receiving reviewers’ comments.

  • Final Decision & Production: Accepted articles proceed to copyediting and typesetting. If finalized before the annual cutoff date, they will appear in the current issue; otherwise, they will be carried over to the next year’s issue.

This schedule ensures both rigorous academic standards and a transparent editorial process. We warmly invite scholars to submit their work and join us in advancing the study of Confucianism, Daoism, and Buddhism.
