The International Review of Education and Learning Sciences (IRELS) is a fully open access journal.

All articles published in the journal are made freely and permanently available online immediately upon publication, without any subscription charges or registration barriers. IRELS applies the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0) to all works, ensuring that research output is accessible to a global audience. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author.

Licensing Terms

All articles published in IRELS are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0). Under this license:

  • Unrestricted Use: Readers are free to share (copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format) and adapt (remix, transform, and build upon the material) for any purpose, even commercially.
  • Attribution: The user must give appropriate credit, provide a link to the license, and indicate if changes were made.

Author Rights & Archiving

Authors retain the copyright of their work and grant the journal the right of first publication. To encourage the wide dissemination of research, authors are explicitly encouraged to deposit the final published version of their articles in:
