Effective Date: Volume 2, Issue 1 (2026)

Thematic Priorities and Open Call for Papers

As Global Review of Humanities, Arts, and Society (GRHAS) approaches its second volume, we are refining our editorial vision. Starting from Volume 2 (2026), the journal will place a strategic emphasis on scholarship that addresses the following key research areas:

  • Climate change and environmental humanities

  • Migration, borders, and transnationalism

  • Digital culture, media, and technology criticism

  • Postcolonial and decolonial perspectives

  • Social justice, activism, and human rights

  • Gender, sexuality, and body politics

  • Creative and reflective artistic practices

  • Performance, visual culture, and critical art studies

  • Memory politics, cultural remembrance, and public history

  • Narrative theory, translation, and cross-cultural dialogue

  • Epistemologies and critiques of knowledge production

Scope & Inclusivity Policy: While these themes represent our core editorial focus for the coming year, GRHAS remains committed to a broad scope. We warmly encourage submissions that fall outside these specific categories, provided they align with the journal's general mission of fostering critical and interdisciplinary dialogue. Original research, theoretical essays, and creative works from all related fields are welcome.
