Global Review of Humanities, Arts and Society (GRHAS) adopts a clear and transparent copyright and licensing policy designed to protect authors’ intellectual property while ensuring broad dissemination and accessibility of published research. The journal supports open scholarly communication and follows internationally recognized practices in open-access publishing.
Copyright Ownership
Authors who publish in GRHAS retain the copyright of their work. By submitting and publishing their manuscript in the journal, authors grant GRHAS the non-exclusive right to publish, reproduce, distribute, and make the article publicly available as the original publisher.
This arrangement ensures that authors maintain ownership of their intellectual contributions while enabling the journal to disseminate the work as part of its official scholarly publication.
Authors are responsible for ensuring that all materials included in their manuscripts, including images, tables, figures, or other third-party content, comply with copyright regulations and that appropriate permissions have been obtained where required.
Licensing Terms
All articles published in GRHAS are distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY). This license permits unrestricted use, distribution, and reproduction of the work in any medium or format, provided that appropriate credit is given to the original author(s) and the journal as the source of publication.
Under the terms of the CC BY license, users are permitted to:
- share — copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format
- adapt — remix, transform, and build upon the material
- use the material for any purpose, including commercial use
All reuse of published material must include proper attribution to the original author(s) and the journal.
Author Rights
Authors publishing in GRHAS retain the following rights:
- the right to use their article in future research or publications
- the right to distribute copies of the article for educational or research purposes
- the right to deposit the published version of the article in institutional repositories or personal academic webpages
- the right to share the article through academic networks and scholarly platforms
Authors are encouraged to acknowledge the original publication in GRHAS when sharing or reusing the published article.
Third-Party Materials
If the manuscript includes material such as figures, images, tables, or excerpts that are copyrighted by other parties, authors must obtain the necessary written permission from the copyright holder before submission. Authors must also provide appropriate credit and citation for all third-party materials used in the manuscript.
The journal cannot publish material that infringes on existing copyright laws.
