Submission Process

Authors wishing to submit manuscripts to Global Review of Humanities, Arts and Society (GRHAS) should ensure that their work complies with the journal’s Aims & Scope, Author Guidelines, and Publication Ethics policies before submission. All manuscripts must present original scholarly work that has not been previously published and is not currently under consideration by another journal.

The journal follows a structured submission and editorial workflow designed to ensure transparency, efficiency, and adherence to international academic publishing standards.

Pre-Submission Requirements

Before submitting a manuscript, authors should ensure that:

  • the manuscript fits within the scope and thematic focus of the journal
  • the work is original and has not been submitted elsewhere
  • all authors have approved the final version of the manuscript
  • the manuscript follows the formatting and citation requirements described in the Author Guidelines
  • all figures, tables, and third-party materials have appropriate permissions where necessary
  • potential conflicts of interest are disclosed

* Manuscripts that do not meet these requirements may be returned to the authors before entering the editorial review process.

Required Submission Materials

A complete submission should include the following components:

1. Manuscript File (Anonymous Version)

The main manuscript file prepared for double-blind peer review, which should include:

  • manuscript title
  • abstract and keywords
  • main text of the article
  • references
  • figures and tables (if applicable)

The manuscript file must not contain author names, affiliations, or other identifying information.

2. Title Page

A separate title page should include:

  • full manuscript title
  • names of all authors
  • institutional affiliations
  • corresponding author’s contact information (email address)
  • acknowledgements (if applicable)

3. Supplementary Materials (Optional)

If relevant, authors may submit supplementary materials such as:

  • additional datasets
  • appendices
  • visual materials
  • methodological documentation

These materials should be clearly labeled and referenced in the manuscript.

Submission Method & Initial Screening

Manuscripts should be submitted through the journal’s official submission channel, as indicated on the journal’s website. Authors may be required to upload the manuscript files and accompanying documents through the journal’s editorial management system or submit them via the designated editorial contact. Upon submission, the editorial office will confirm receipt of the manuscript and begin the initial editorial screening process.

After submission, the editorial office conducts a preliminary evaluation to determine whether the manuscript meets the journal’s basic requirements. This screening includes assessment of:

  • relevance to the journal’s scope
  • originality and scholarly significance
  • compliance with formatting guidelines
  • adherence to publication ethics standards

Manuscripts that pass this stage are forwarded for external peer review.

Peer Review and Editorial Decision

Eligible manuscripts undergo the journal’s double-blind peer review process. At least two independent reviewers evaluate the manuscript according to academic criteria such as originality, methodological rigor, theoretical contribution, and relevance to the field. Following the review process, the editor will issue one of the following decisions:

  • Accept without revisions
  • Accept with minor revisions
  • Major revisions required
  • Reject

Authors receiving revision requests should submit a revised manuscript along with a detailed response to reviewer comments.

Final Acceptance and Publication Preparation

Once a manuscript is accepted for publication, the editorial office will proceed with final editorial preparation. This stage may include:

  • copyediting and language editing
  • formatting and layout preparation
  • verification of references and metadata

Authors may be contacted to confirm final details before publication.

Author Responsibilities After Submission

Authors are expected to cooperate with the editorial office throughout the review and publication process. Any significant errors identified after submission or acceptance should be reported to the editorial office promptly.

By submitting a manuscript to GRHAS, authors confirm that they agree to comply with the journal’s editorial policies, ethical standards, and publication procedures.
