Editorial Policy Update Effective November 2025

2025-10-28

The editorial board of Global Review of Humanities, Arts, and Society (GRHAS) announces the implementation of revised editorial policies and publishing ethics effective November 2025.

Since its founding in April 2025, GRHAS has completed four issues during an early development phase. While academic quality was maintained, certain international publishing standards—such as structured metadata, author disclosures, and COPE-based ethics procedures—were not yet fully enforced across all submissions.

Beginning in November 2025, GRHAS adopts a fully standardized editorial workflow. Key changes include:

  • Mandatory author affiliation or “Independent Scholar” attribution

  • Signed originality and conflict of interest declarations

  • Disclosure of AI usage in research or writing

  • Ethics approval documentation for studies involving human participants or sensitive data

  • Structured English metadata including abstracts and references

The journal now utilizes a manuscript structure based on Elsevier’s formatting conventions. These updates aim to align GRHAS with international indexing criteria (e.g., ERIH PLUS, DOAJ) and ensure long-term academic accountability.

We thank our contributors and readers for supporting this transition. For further details, please refer to the updated [Author Guidelines] and [Ethics & Copyright] available on our website.
