2026This special issue documents conference abstracts and extended abstracts presented at the Resonance Annual Conference 2026, held as an online event under the theme “The Next Decade of Music.”
The issue brings together abstract-based contributions that reflect current scholarly discussions on music, technology, culture, education, and interdisciplinary research. All contents included in this issue are derived from oral presentations and are intended for scholarly exchange and documentation of the conference.
The materials published in this special issue do not constitute full-length research articles and have not undergone full peer review. Instead, they provide a snapshot of emerging perspectives and ongoing research directions in global music studies, while encouraging further development into formal journal submissions beyond the conference context.
