Submission Guidelines

We invite submissions of original, unpublished work that aligns with the mission of Resonance: Journal of Global Music Studies. Manuscripts should demonstrate scholarly rigor, theoretical relevance, and a contribution to the global understanding of music and sound.

Acceptable Languages

English Chinese German Italian Russian

* English title and abstract (150–200 words) are required for all submissions. English is the primary language of publication.

1 Cover Letter (Introduce submission & originality)
2 Manuscript (Anonymous)
3 Abstract & Keywords (in English)
4 Biographical Note (100–150 words, 3rd person)
Peer Review Policy All research submissions undergo double‑blind peer review. Other sections are subject to editorial review.
Review Timeline Initial decision: 4–6 weeks.
Peer review process: Up to 12 weeks.
