Resonance: Journal of Global Music Studies is committed to ensuring the long-term preservation, accessibility, and integrity of all published scholarly content.

  • Persistent Identifiers: All articles published by the journal are permanently available through the official journal website and are assigned Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs) to ensure persistent identification and reliable citation.
  • Distributed Preservation (LOCKSS & CLOCKSS): To guarantee long-term digital preservation, the journal participates in internationally recognized archiving systems including LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) and CLOCKSS (Controlled LOCKSS). These distributed preservation networks ensure that multiple copies of the journal’s content are securely stored across participating libraries and archival systems, safeguarding the scholarly record against data loss.
  • Server Security: In addition, the journal maintains secure server storage and regular system backups to protect the integrity and availability of all published materials.

Repository Policy (Self-Archiving)

Authors are permitted to deposit the published version (Version of Record) of their articles in institutional repositories, subject repositories, or other recognized academic archiving platforms immediately after publication, provided that the original publication in Resonance: Journal of Global Music Studies is properly cited.
