Panorama Frontier Review

Panorama Frontier Review follows a structured and transparent peer review procedure to ensure the academic quality, originality, and integrity of the manuscripts it publishes. All submissions are evaluated through an editorial assessment followed by a peer review process.

Editorial Screening

After submission, each manuscript undergoes an initial editorial screening conducted by the editorial office and the Editor-in-Chief or an assigned editor. At this stage, the manuscript is assessed for:

  • relevance to the journal’s aims and scope
  • originality and academic contribution
  • compliance with submission guidelines
  • adherence to publication ethics and research integrity standards

Manuscripts that do not meet the basic requirements of the journal may be returned to the authors without external review.

Typical time for editorial screening: approximately 3–7 days.

Double-Blind Peer Review

Manuscripts that pass the initial screening are evaluated through a double-blind peer review process, in which the identities of both authors and reviewers remain anonymous.

Each manuscript is typically reviewed by two independent reviewers with expertise in the relevant research area. Reviewers assess the manuscript based on several criteria, including:

  • originality and significance of the research
  • methodological soundness
  • clarity of analysis and argumentation
  • relevance to the academic community
Typical peer review period: approximately 2–4 weeks.

Editorial Decision

Based on the reviewers’ reports and the editor’s assessment, the editor may make one of the following decisions:

  • Accept
  • Minor Revision
  • Major Revision
  • Reject

If revisions are requested, authors should submit a revised manuscript together with a detailed response to the reviewers’ comments.

Final Decision

After the revised manuscript is submitted, the editor will evaluate whether the revisions adequately address the reviewers’ comments. In some cases, the revised manuscript may be sent for additional review.

Average time from submission to first decision: approximately 2–4 weeks.

Publication

Once a manuscript is accepted, it proceeds to copyediting, formatting, and final proofreading before publication.

Average time from acceptance to online publication: approximately 7–10 days.
