Conflict of Interest Policy

Panorama Frontier Review

Panorama Frontier Review is committed to maintaining transparency and integrity in the publication process. Authors, reviewers, and editors are required to disclose any potential conflicts of interest that could influence the interpretation, evaluation, or publication of research.

Definition of Conflict of Interest

A conflict of interest exists when financial, professional, institutional, or personal relationships could potentially influence, or be perceived to influence, the objectivity of research or editorial decisions.

Conflicts of interest may include, but are not limited to:

  • financial support from organizations that may benefit from the research findings
  • employment, consultancy, or advisory roles with relevant institutions or companies
  • personal relationships with individuals involved in the research or editorial process
  • academic competition or professional collaborations that may affect impartial judgment

Responsibilities of Authors

Authors must disclose any relevant conflicts of interest at the time of manuscript submission. A Conflict of Interest statement should be included in the manuscript, indicating whether any conflicts exist.

If no conflicts of interest are present, authors should include a statement such as:

“The authors declare that they have no conflict of interest.”

Responsibilities of Reviewers

Reviewers should decline to review manuscripts if they have conflicts of interest that could affect their ability to provide an impartial evaluation. This may include:

  • recent collaboration with the authors
  • institutional affiliation with the authors
  • financial or personal relationships related to the research

Reviewers should notify the editorial office if they believe a potential conflict exists.

Responsibilities of Editors

Editors must ensure that editorial decisions are made fairly and without influence from conflicts of interest. If an editor has a potential conflict regarding a submitted manuscript, the editorial responsibility should be transferred to another qualified editor.

Transparency

All disclosed conflicts of interest will be handled in accordance with the journal’s editorial policies to ensure transparency and the integrity of the scholarly record.
