
Publication Ethics Requirements
All submissions to Climate Sustainability & Global Systems (CSGS) must comply with international standards of research integrity and publication ethics.
1. Originality & Prior Publication
- Manuscripts must be original and not under consideration elsewhere.
- Screened using plagiarism detection software prior to review.
- Redundant or duplicate publication is strictly prohibited.
2. Authorship Criteria
- Based on substantial intellectual contribution.
- All authors must approve the final version.
- Guest, honorary, or ghost authorship is not permitted.
3. Conflict of Interest Disclosure
Disclosure of financial, institutional, or personal interests is mandatory for all authors.
4. Research Ethics Approval
Studies involving humans, animals, or indigenous knowledge must include:
Avoid fabrication/falsification. Raw data must be retained for verification.
AI use in text, analysis, or images must be disclosed. AI cannot be an author.
No manipulation to misrepresent results. Original files may be requested.
No citation manipulation or coordinated schemes. Genuine relevance only.
