CSGS is committed to the highest standards of integrity and transparency, strictly aligning with the best practices of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
1. Principles of Academic Integrity
2. Editorial Independence

3. Fair and Unbiased Review
Evaluation is blind to nationality, gender, or institutional affiliation.
4. Responsible Climate & Sustainability Research
Given the global impact of climate science, authors have a heightened responsibility to:
- Clearly communicate scientific uncertainty and risk.
- Transparently disclose all modeling assumptions and parameters.
- Maintain a strict distinction between empirical evidence and policy advocacy.
Authors must enable verification by retaining datasets and providing full reproducibility documentation for models.
Strict prohibition of plagiarism, fabrication, and manipulation.
VIOLATIONS LEAD TO RETRACTION & BANS.Full disclosure of financial, institutional, or personal ties is mandatory to protect the scholarly record.
8. Human and Environmental Responsibility
Research involving indigenous knowledge or local communities must respect data sovereignty, demonstrate responsible engagement, and ensure no harm to ecological or social systems.
9. Accountability
Permanent mechanisms are in place for Errata, Retractions, and Expressions of Concern to ensure the record remains paramount.
10. Continuous Oversight
Policies are reviewed periodically to address emerging risks in AI governance, data ethics, and global sustainability standards.
