Climate Sustainability & Global Systems (CSGS) is a fully open access journal, ensuring unrestricted global dissemination of scholarly knowledge.

CSGS provides immediate open access to all published content to support a greater global exchange of knowledge. Readers are permitted to perform the following without prior permission, provided proper attribution is given:

All articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY 4.0). Under this license:

  • Authors retain copyright of their work.

3. Copyright Policy

Authors grant the publisher a non-exclusive license to publish while retaining full copyright. Authors are encouraged to:

4. Article Processing Charges (APC)

To support open access publication, CSGS may charge an APC to cover editorial processing, peer review, typesetting, and digital hosting. There are no submission fees.

Waiver Policy:

Waivers or discounts are available for authors from low-income countries or those demonstrating financial hardship. Editorial decisions are independent of APC considerations.

5. Archiving

Long-term preservation through DOI registration (Crossref) and recognized digital archiving systems to ensure permanent accessibility.

6. Funder Compliance

Supports immediate open access and CC BY mandates from major research funders, including repository deposit requirements.

7. No Commercial Influence

APCs do not influence editorial decisions. All manuscripts undergo the same rigorous peer review regardless of funding status. Editorial independence is strictly maintained.
