Important Notice: Double-Blind Peer Review and Similarity Report Requirements

2026-03-21

Dear Authors,

To further enhance the academic standards and publication quality of the Health Nexus: Interdisciplinary Medical Research Journal, we are strictly enforcing the following submission requirements. Please read and comply with these guidelines carefully before submitting your manuscript:

1. Strict Double-Blind Peer Review We employ a rigorous double-blind peer review process. To ensure complete anonymity and objective evaluation, authors MUST upload their submission as two separate documents:

  • A Separate Title Page: This document must contain the manuscript title, complete names and affiliations of all authors, corresponding author contact details, funding declarations, acknowledgments, and conflict of interest statements.

  • An Anonymized Main Manuscript: This document is the only text sent to reviewers and must not contain any identifying author information. Authors must ensure that self-citations are blinded (e.g., replace citations with "[Author citation deleted for peer review]") and that all author-identifying metadata is removed from the document properties.

2. Mandatory Similarity Report (<15%) We maintain a zero-tolerance policy towards plagiarism and academic misconduct. All new submissions must be accompanied by a full, official similarity report, uploaded as a supplementary file in the system:

  • Accepted Tools: We require official, full-text reports (in PDF format) generated by recognized academic authorities, such as Turnitin or iThenticate.

  • Threshold: The total Similarity Index must be strictly below 15%. Please note that even if the total score is below 15%, the Editorial Office reserves the right to reject the manuscript if the similarity rate from a single source is disproportionately high.

*Notice of Non-Compliance: Submissions that fail to provide a completely anonymized main manuscript or lack a compliant official similarity report (<15%) will not enter the peer-review process and will be returned to the author immediately during the initial screening phase.

Thank you for your understanding, cooperation, and continued support of our academic standards.
