Health Nexus is committed to protecting authors’ rights while promoting the broad dissemination and reuse of published research through open-access licensing.


1. Copyright Policy

Authors publishing in Health Nexus retain full copyright ownership of their work.

Upon acceptance, authors grant Panorama Scholarly Group (PSG) a non-exclusive license to:

  • Publish, reproduce, and distribute the article
  • Identify itself as the original publisher
  • Archive and make the article available in all formats and media

This ensures both author ownership and global accessibility.

2. Licensing Terms

All articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY 4.0) unless otherwise stated.

Under CC BY 4.0, users are permitted to:

  • Share (copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format)
  • Adapt (remix, transform, and build upon the material)
  • Use the material for any purpose, including commercial use

Conditions:

  • Appropriate credit must be given to the original author(s) and source
  • A link to the license must be provided
  • Any changes made must be indicated

3. Author Rights

Authors retain the right to:

  • Reuse their work in future publications (e.g., books, reviews)
  • Deposit the published article in institutional or subject repositories
  • Share the final published version (Version of Record) without embargo
  • Use the work for educational and academic purposes

4. Third-Party Material

Authors are responsible for:

  • Obtaining permission for any third-party material (e.g., images, figures, tables) not covered by the article’s license
  • Properly acknowledging the original source

Such material may not be included under the article’s Creative Commons license unless explicitly stated.

5. Licensing of Supplementary Materials

Supplementary files (e.g., datasets, figures, multimedia) are:

  • Covered by the same CC BY 4.0 license, unless otherwise specified
  • Expected to comply with ethical and legal standards for reuse

6. Publisher Rights and Responsibilities

Panorama Scholarly Group (PSG), as the publisher:

  • Ensures proper attribution and citation standards
  • Maintains the integrity of the published record
  • Supports long-term preservation and accessibility
  • Does not restrict lawful reuse under the Creative Commons license

7. Compliance with Open Access Standards

This policy complies with:

  • DOAJ (Directory of Open Access Journals) requirements
  • Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI) principles
  • COPE ethical publishing standards
