Announcement on Publishing Model Update (Effective 2027)

Health Nexus: Interdisciplinary Medical Research Journal has operated under a Diamond Open Access publishing model since its establishment, ensuring that neither authors nor readers are required to pay publication fees. This model has enabled the journal to promote open and accessible dissemination of interdisciplinary medical research integrating Western medicine and traditional medical systems.

To support the long-term sustainability of the journal, strengthen our publishing infrastructure, and enhance the journal’s capacity for inclusion in major international indexing databases, Health Nexus will introduce an Article Processing Charge (APC) policy beginning in 2027.

The specific APC standards, waiver policies, and implementation details will be officially announced in early 2027 on the journal’s website and in the updated Author Guidelines.

Transitional Policy

Manuscripts submitted before the implementation of the APC policy in 2027 will continue to be processed and published under the current Diamond Open Access model, and no Article Processing Charges will be applied.
