Comparative Philosophy and Religious Traditions (CPRT) is a fully open access journal. All content is freely and permanently accessible online immediately upon publication, without subscription or access fees.
The journal is committed to the broad dissemination of scholarly knowledge and supports unrestricted global access to research in comparative philosophy and religious traditions.

All articles published in CPRT are made freely available to readers worldwide without financial, legal, or technical barriers, except those inseparable from gaining access to the internet itself.

4. Article Processing Charges (APC)
To support editorial processes, peer review management, production, and long-term digital preservation, CPRT may charge an Article Processing Charge (APC).
- APC information is clearly stated on the journal website.
- Any applicable fees are transparent and disclosed prior to submission.
- Waiver or discount policies are available for authors from low- and middle-income countries or under special circumstances.
There are no submission charges.
5. Archiving and Digital Preservation
CPRT ensures the long-term preservation of published content through recognized digital archiving systems.
Articles are preserved via:
- Institutional repository archiving
- Participation in digital preservation services (e.g., LOCKSS or Portico where applicable)
- DOI registration through Crossref
This guarantees continued access even in the event of journal discontinuation.
6. Self-Archiving Policy
Authors are permitted to:
- Archive the published PDF version
- Share preprints and accepted manuscripts
- Deposit articles in institutional and subject repositories
Proper citation to the final published version is required.
