Dear Researchers,

AI & Future Society invites submissions for its upcoming November 2025 issue. As an online-only, open-access journal, we publish high-quality, peer-reviewed research exploring the intersection of artificial intelligence and societal transformation.

We encourage contributions across our seven editorial sections:

  1. AI & Ethics – Fairness, accountability, transparency, and responsible AI

  2. AI Governance & Regulation – Laws, policies, and institutional responses to AI

  3. Human-AI Interaction – User experience, affective computing, and human-centered design

  4. Technology & Future Society – AI's societal impact on institutions, values, and norms

  5. Critical AI Studies – STS, philosophical, and critical perspectives on AI futures

  6. Special Issues – Thematic collections curated by guest editors

  7. Perspectives & Commentary – Short-form analysis and emerging debates

Submission Deadline: October 5, 2025
Publication Date: Online by mid-November 2025

All manuscripts must be submitted through our OJS platform and comply with our editorial policies, including:

  • Ethical approval and informed consent (if applicable)

  • Data availability or licensing statements

  • Conflict of interest disclosure

Submissions will undergo an initial editorial screening followed by double-blind peer review.
