Journal Policies Overview
AI and Future Society is committed to fair transparent and inclusive editorial practices. Our policies align with international standards set by the Committee on Publication Ethics COPE and the Open Access Scholarly Publishers Association OASPA .
1 Editorial Independence
All editorial decisions are made independently based on scholarly merit relevance to the journals scope and ethical standards. Institutional or financial affiliation does not influence outcomes.
2 Open Access Policy
All content is openly accessible under the CC BY 4.0 License promoting free global access and reuse with attribution.
3 Submission and Review
- Manuscripts must be original unpublished and not under concurrent review.
- All research articles undergo double-blind peer review by qualified experts.
- Reviewers and editors must disclose conflicts of interest prior to participation.
4 Data Transparency
Authors are encouraged to:
- Provide open repositories for data and code where feasible
- Include clear data availability statements
- Adopt FAIR data principles Findable Accessible Interoperable Reusable
5 Use of AI Tools
Authors must disclose any use of generative AI eg ChatGPT Copilot in writing analysis or visuals. AI cannot be credited as an author. Authors remain fully responsible for accuracy and originality.
6 Authorship Criteria
All listed authors must:
- Have made substantial scholarly contributions
- Approve the final manuscript
- Accept accountability for the works integrity
Honorary ghost or gift authorship is not permitted.
7 Complaints and Appeals
Complaints or appeals from authors reviewers or readers should be directed to the editorial office. All concerns are handled confidentially following COPEs guidelines.
8 Special Issues and Guest Editing
Special issues are curated by invitation and must adhere to the same ethical review and transparency standards. Guest editors must disclose all conflicts and maintain editorial independence.
