Plagiarism Policy and Integrity Standards

AI and Future Society is committed to publishing only original research. Plagiarism in any form constitutes a serious breach of academic ethics and is strictly prohibited.

1 Responsibility and Checks

  • Author Self-Verification Authors are required to perform an initial check for plagiarism and ensure the manuscript is free from uncredited material before submission.
  • Editorial Office Screening The Editorial Office will conduct random checks on submitted manuscripts using professional plagiarism detection software.

2 Acceptable Similarity Threshold

The overall similarity index for a manuscript is required to be below 15 to 20 percent.

Submissions exceeding this threshold will be returned to the author for mandatory revision or may be subject to desk rejection.

3 Types of Plagiarism Prohibited

  • Direct copying of text without quotation and citation.
  • Uncredited paraphrasing or close imitation of another authors work.
  • Self-plagiarism reusing significant portions of ones own previously published work without proper citation and permission.
  • Using AI-generated text or data without clear disclosure as mandated by the journals policy.
