Publication Schedule of AI & Future Society

AI & Future Society follows a regular semiannual publication schedule, supporting the timely and rigorous dissemination of interdisciplinary research at the intersection of artificial intelligence and society.

Each Volume comprises two Issues released as follows:

  • Issue 1: May (each calendar year)

  • Issue 2: November (each calendar year)

Manuscripts are accepted on a rolling basis throughout the year. All accepted articles are scheduled for publication in the next available issue, subject to editorial workflow and peer review timelines.

Authors are encouraged to plan their submissions in alignment with this publication cycle. Deadlines for special issues and thematic collections will be announced separately.

This schedule is designed to ensure both regularity and responsiveness in publishing high-impact research related to AI ethics, governance, human–AI interaction, and broader societal transformations driven by intelligent systems.
