1 · Purpose and Scope

The PoliEcoM Administration Review (PEMR) is committed to maintaining the highest standards of academic integrity. This policy outlines the definitions, principles, and procedures for handling research misconduct. It applies to all authors, reviewers, editors, and editorial staff involved in the submission, peer-review, and publication process.

2 · Definitions of Research Misconduct

  • Plagiarism (2.1)Using another’s work, ideas, data, or text without proper attribution.
  • Fabrication (2.2)Making up data, results, references, or research procedures.
  • Falsification (2.3)Manipulating materials, equipment, or data in a way that misrepresents results.
  • Inappropriate Authorship (2.4)Gift or ghost authorship, or misrepresentation of contributions.
  • Duplicate Submission (2.5)Simultaneous submission of the same manuscript to multiple journals.
  • Redundant Publication (2.6)Republishing content without citation or justification.
  • Ethics Violations (2.7)Conducting research without approval or manipulating peer review.
  • Other Unethical Practices (2.8)Citation manipulation, data withholding, etc.
