Article Processing Charge (APC)
Policy on publication fees, inclusions, and waivers.
PoliEcoM Administration Review (PEMR) applies an Article Processing Charge (APC) to accepted manuscripts to support the costs associated with editorial management, peer review, production, online hosting, and long-term archiving.
APC Amount
USD 300
* Per accepted article. Subject to periodic adjustment based on inflation and operational costs.
Article Type Exceptions
Book Reviews and Commentaries and Perspectives are exempt from the Article Processing Charge (free of charge). However, please note that these specific article types are not assigned a Digital Object Identifier (DOI).
Payment Timing
The APC is payable upon acceptance of the manuscript and must be completed before publication.
What Does the APC Cover? (Inclusions)
The APC covers all editorial and technical services including peer review coordination, copyediting, typesetting, online publication, and archiving. There are no additional charges for color figures, supplementary files, or full-text access.
Waivers and Discounts
Partial or full APC waivers may be granted by the editorial board, especially for:
- Authors from low-income or lower-middle-income countries (World Bank definition)
- Early-career researchers
- Special academic or humanitarian circumstances
Requests for waivers should be made at the time of submission.
Refund Policy
APCs are non-refundable once an article enters the production stage, unless the publication is cancelled due to reasons attributable to the editorial office or publisher.
