Copyright & Licensing
Computational Social Sciences Review (CSSR) is an open-access journal committed to transparency and the free dissemination of knowledge. All published articles are made available under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0).
1. Copyright Retention
Authors retain full copyright to their work upon publication. By submitting a manuscript to CSSR, authors agree to grant the journal a non-exclusive license to publish, distribute, and archive the article under the CC BY 4.0 license.

As long as proper credit is given to the authors and original source, the CC BY 4.0 license ensures maximum dissemination and impact of the work.

No embargo or restriction applies.
6. Third-Party Materials
If authors include copyrighted content (figures, tables, datasets, images), they must obtain permission from the rights holder and clearly indicate the source. CSSR is not responsible for copyright violations committed by authors.
7. Commercial Use
Under CC BY 4.0, users may reuse and adapt CSSR content for commercial purposes, provided that appropriate attribution is given. This supports widespread dissemination of research and promotes academic–industry collaboration.
