Why JLPCS?

The Journal of Law, Psychology, and Communication Studies (JLPCS) was founded in response to an urgent need for a dedicated academic platform that bridges disciplinary divides and fosters dialogue across law, psychology, and communication studies. In an era marked by rapid technological change, shifting social norms, and increasingly complex legal and media environments, research that cuts across traditional academic boundaries has become not only valuable—but essential.

What We Aim For

As an editorial team, we envision JLPCS as a space for publishing rigorous, peer-reviewed research that addresses key social, psychological, and communicative phenomena with clarity, originality, and relevance. We are particularly interested in work that:

  • Explores how legal frameworks interact with psychological behavior and media discourse;

  • Examines the psychological dimensions of law, justice, and authority;

  • Analyzes how communication practices shape public understanding, legal outcomes, and societal norms.

Who We Are

We are an editorial collective composed of interdisciplinary scholars and researchers committed to academic integrity, methodological diversity, and intellectual openness. By founding JLPCS, we seek to contribute to the global scholarly community and support research that informs policy, empowers communities, and deepens academic inquiry.

"We invite you to read, submit, and join us in building a journal that reflects the complexity of the world we live in."
