Article Processing Charges (APC)

Journal of Law, Psychology, and Communication Studies (JLPCS) is an open-access academic journal committed to freely disseminating high-quality scholarship to the global research community.

To sustain peer review, editorial coordination, digital publication, and platform maintenance, an Article Processing Charge (APC) is applied to all accepted manuscripts.

APC Information

  • Amount 2000 RMB (approximately 275 USD) per accepted article.
  • When Charged No fees are collected at submission or during peer review. The APC is invoiced only after the article has been formally accepted.
  • Purpose The APC covers costs related to manuscript review, editorial production, open-access hosting, and DOI registration. JLPCS operates fully online and maintains a non-commercial academic infrastructure.
  • Waiver Policy Authors who experience financial hardship may apply for a full or partial waiver during the submission process. Waiver requests are evaluated on a case-by-case basis and do not influence editorial decisions.
  • Payment Upon final acceptance, the editorial office will issue an invoice with payment instructions. A payment confirmation or receipt can be provided upon request after payment is completed.

All articles published in the Journal of Law, Psychology, and Communication Studies (JLPCS) are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0).

This license permits anyone to use, share, distribute, reproduce, and adapt the work—even for commercial purposes—provided that appropriate credit is given to the original author(s) and source. This ensures maximum dissemination and reusability of published research while preserving author attribution rights.
