Ethics Statement

The Journal of Law, Psychology, and Communication Studies (JLPCS) is committed to maintaining the highest standards of academic integrity and publishing ethics. All authors, reviewers, and editorial team members are required to adhere to the following principles:

1. Authors' Ethics

• Authors must ensure that their submissions are original, have not been plagiarized from other works, and are not under consideration elsewhere.
• All individuals who have made significant contributions must be listed as co-authors, and all listed authors must take responsibility for the content of the work.
• Authors must disclose any potential conflicts of interest.
• Research involving human participants or animal subjects must comply with international ethical standards and provide appropriate ethical approval documentation, if applicable.

2. Reviewers' Ethics

• Reviewers must provide objective, impartial evaluations based solely on the academic merits of the manuscript.
• Reviewers must maintain strict confidentiality and must not disclose any information regarding the manuscript.
• Reviewers must disclose any potential conflicts of interest and recuse themselves from the review process if necessary.

3. Editors' Ethics

• Editorial decisions must be made based on the scholarly merit and relevance of the manuscript, regardless of the authors’ identity, affiliation, or other non-academic factors.
• Editors are responsible for addressing allegations of misconduct, including plagiarism, data fabrication, and unethical research practices, in a timely and transparent manner.
• Editors must manage any potential conflicts of interest fairly and transparently to maintain the integrity of the editorial process.
