1. Responsibilities of Reviewers
- Conduct a fair, objective, and timely review based solely on the scholarly merits of the manuscript.
- Provide constructive, clear, and respectful feedback to help authors improve their work.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of all manuscripts and the peer review process.
- Disclose any actual or potential conflicts of interest that may affect the impartiality of the review.
- Refrain from using any part of the manuscript for personal or professional advantage.
2. Review Process
JLPCS operates a double-blind peer review system. Reviewers are generally expected to submit their reviews within 3–4 weeks.
Reviewers are asked to recommend one of the following decisions:
- ■ Accept without revisions
- ■ Accept with minor revisions
- ■ Major revisions required
- ■ Reject
3. Evaluation Criteria
- Originality and significance of the research
- Rigor and coherence of the theoretical framework and methodology
- Clarity, structure, and academic tone of the writing
- Accuracy of references (compliance with APA 7th Edition style)
- Relevance to the journal’s scope and interdisciplinary focus
4. Confidentiality and Ethics
All submitted manuscripts must be treated as strictly confidential. Reviewers must not share, discuss, or disclose manuscript content under any circumstances. If you identify concerns such as plagiarism, data fabrication, image manipulation, or other ethical violations, please notify the editorial office immediately.
AI Policy: Use of generative AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT) for reviewing or analyzing submitted content is strictly prohibited in order to protect data integrity, author privacy, and review confidentiality.
