The journal is committed to protecting the intellectual property and academic integrity of authors throughout the submission, peer review, and publication processes.

All manuscripts submitted to the journal are treated as confidential intellectual work. Editors, reviewers, and editorial staff are required to respect the originality and ownership of the ideas presented in submitted manuscripts.

Any suspected misuse of authors’ intellectual contributions will be investigated by the editorial board in accordance with the journal’s publication ethics policy.

The editorial board is responsible for ensuring that all participants in the editorial process adhere to ethical standards regarding the protection of intellectual contributions.

Authors retain ownership of the intellectual content of their manuscripts. Submission of a manuscript to Silence does not transfer copyright or intellectual ownership to the journal unless the manuscript is accepted and published under the journal’s copyright and licensing policy.
