What types of articles does JESA publish?

JESA accepts research articles, review articles, case studies, short communications, and interdisciplinary insights within engineering, science, chemistry, and life sciences.

Is there a publication fee?

JESA is an open-access journal. Authors may be required to pay an Article Processing Charge (APC) to cover costs. Details are available on the APC page.

How long does the review process take?

On average, the double-blind peer review process takes 6–10 weeks, depending on reviewer availability and manuscript complexity.

Can I submit to another journal simultaneously?

No. JESA only accepts manuscripts that have not been submitted elsewhere. Simultaneous submissions violate publication ethics.

What is the plagiarism policy?

All submissions are screened using detection tools. Manuscripts with significant plagiarism (including self-plagiarism) will be rejected.

What license applies to JESA articles?

All articles are published under the CC BY-NC 4.0 license, allowing free use for non-commercial purposes with proper attribution.

How do I become a reviewer?

Interested experts may apply by sending their CV and areas of expertise to the editorial office via the contact page.
